Trauma-Informed Therapy that Builds a Joyful Community

We prioritize an anti-oppressive, intersectional focus to make a safer place for LGBTQIAS2+ folks, BIPOC, and others to process trauma. We offer gender affirming care, and everyone in the collaboration is sensitive to the cultural hierarchies that can obstruct healing.

Trauma, grief, and other adverse experiences affect us all; we provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety, depression, PTSD, Substance Use Disorder, and other mental health challenges. Our methods focus on healing the mind-body connection and making way for a fulfilling life full of lovingkindness. We also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for clients who would like to use it to support their treatment.

When you are navigating life with another person, challenges will always arise. Healing Tides specializes in LGBTQ and polyamourous couples counseling and serves clients in traditional and nontraditional relationships. We help facilitate the open communication needed to strengthen connections and come to agreements that uplift everyone involved.

We offer professional supervision for Clinical Social Work Associates (CSWAs) and Licensed Professional Counselors Interns who are seeking licensure. We operate from a trauma-informed viewpoint, and will work with you to develop your plan for supervision and identify your professional goals.

We believe in the power of community and connection on the path to healing. That's why we're offering supportive groups tailored to meet diverse needs and preferences of our community. Our groups strive to provide a nurturing environment where individuals can share experiences, gain insights, and find solidarity. Led by compassionate therapists, these gatherings offer a unique opportunity for personal growth and connection.
