This Somatic Skills group is offered to queer and trans adults of all ages who are interested in strengthening their embodiment practice. Through increasing our mind-body connection, we learn to access the body as a resource for experiencing greater coherence, aliveness, and connection with ourselves and others. Each week will practice a different skill within a context of gentleness, playfulness, and curious exploration. This group will be led by 2 Latinx practitioners and we will be registering a minimum of 50% BIPOC participants.

To apply for the group, please email intake@healingtidescounseling.com and either Monica or Nico will reach out to you to follow up. Please note that we have a limited number of slots, and so participation is not guaranteed. We are offering a minimum of 50% of the slots to BIPOC, and one scholarship (free) slot is available to a BIPOC participant. Any applicants not accepted will be added to our outreach list for future groups.

Eligible to attend:

  • Queer and/or Trans (including questioning!)
  • Age 18+
  • Able to commit to all 8 weeks
  • Able to be present in group without the use of mood-altering substances (prescribed medication ok)
